Effective date:
August 3, 2026
These Terms of Service apply to your use of the Harvey's Elite Care
website and to cleaning services requested through our website,
email, telephone, or other approved communication channels.
By confirming an appointment or allowing the service to begin, you
agree to these terms and to any written estimate, scope, or service
details confirmed with you.
1. Booking Requests and Appointment Confirmation
Submitting a quote or booking form does not automatically create a
confirmed appointment.
A booking becomes confirmed only after Harvey's Elite Care reviews
the request and communicates acceptance of the date, service scope,
estimated duration, and estimated price.
We may decline or propose changes to a request based on availability,
location, property conditions, safety concerns, service limitations,
or incomplete information.
2. Service Scope
Services are provided according to the service tier, selected
add-ons, agreed cleaning checklist, and information confirmed before
the appointment.
Soft Cleaning is intended for routine upkeep. Deep Cleaning is
intended for more detailed work, buildup, and areas requiring
additional time.
Tasks not included in the agreed scope are not automatically part of
the service. Additional work must be discussed and approved before
it is performed.
3. Estimates and Pricing
Website totals and hourly calculations are estimates based on the
information provided by the client. They are not guaranteed final
prices unless confirmed in writing.
The final amount may be affected by:
- The size and condition of the property
- The selected service tier
- The number of hours worked
- Requested add-ons
- Access limitations
- Unexpected buildup or additional requested work
If the scope or condition differs materially from the information
provided, we will discuss the situation and obtain approval before
proceeding with additional work or charges.
Promotional discounts apply only according to the stated offer terms
and may not be combined with another discount unless confirmed by us.
4. Payment
Payment is due immediately after completion of the service unless a
different arrangement has been confirmed in writing.
We currently accept:
- Cash
- E-Transfer
- Another payment method only when confirmed in advance
The client is responsible for reviewing the completed service and
paying the confirmed amount when due.
Any late-payment charge must be disclosed and agreed to before it is
applied.
5. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Please provide at least 48 hours' notice when cancelling or
rescheduling a confirmed appointment.
A late-cancellation fee may apply when less than 48 hours' notice is
provided, but only when the amount or calculation has been clearly
disclosed and accepted as part of the confirmed booking.
No-show, lockout, or inaccessible-property situations may be treated
as late cancellations when our team arrives but cannot reasonably
enter or begin the service.
We may reschedule due to illness, emergencies, severe weather,
transportation problems, unsafe conditions, or other circumstances
beyond reasonable control. We will communicate changes as soon as
reasonably possible.
6. Client Responsibilities
The client is responsible for:
- Providing complete and accurate booking information
- Ensuring reasonable and lawful access to the property
- Providing parking or access instructions when necessary
- Securing valuables, cash, confidential documents, and fragile items
- Identifying damaged, delicate, or high-value surfaces and items
- Keeping children and pets safely away from active work areas
- Providing working water and electricity where required
- Informing us about allergies or requested product restrictions
- Disclosing known hazards before the service begins
Failure to provide reasonable access or a safe work environment may
result in delay, adjustment, cancellation, or refusal of service.
7. Cleaning Supplies and Equipment
We may provide standard cleaning supplies and equipment as confirmed
for the appointment.
If you require a specific product, fragrance-free option, or
client-supplied product, please communicate this before the
appointment and ensure the product is available when required.
We are not responsible for the performance, suitability, or damage
caused by a client-supplied product when used according to the
client's request, except where responsibility cannot legally be
excluded.
8. Excluded and Hazardous Work
Unless specifically agreed in writing, we do not provide cleaning
involving:
- Blood or bodily fluids
- Human or animal waste
- Needles or drug paraphernalia
- Hazardous chemicals or unknown substances
- Mould remediation
- Pest infestations
- Asbestos or other regulated hazardous materials
- Unsafe heights or structurally unsafe areas
- Heavy lifting beyond what can be performed safely
We may stop or refuse work when conditions present a health, safety,
legal, or property-damage risk.
9. Existing Damage, Fragile Items, and Access Limitations
Clients should identify existing damage, unstable fixtures, delicate
finishes, loose items, or fragile property before cleaning begins.
Areas that cannot be safely or reasonably accessed may be excluded
from the service. Furniture and appliances will not be moved when
doing so could cause injury or damage.
We are not responsible for ordinary wear, pre-existing damage,
unsecured items, unstable fixtures, or damage that results from
conditions not disclosed to us, except where responsibility cannot
legally be excluded.
10. Satisfaction Support
If you have a concern relating to the agreed service scope, contact
us within 24 hours after the service.
We will review the concern and may request details or photographs to
understand the issue.
When appropriate, we may arrange a complimentary re-clean of the
affected area. The re-clean remedy does not apply to:
- Work outside the agreed scope
- Conditions that developed after the service
- Areas that were inaccessible or unsafe
- Permanent stains, damage, deterioration, or wear
- Concerns reported more than 24 hours after completion
Refunds are not automatically provided and will be considered only
where required by law or expressly agreed by Harvey's Elite Care.
11. Damage or Loss Concerns
Any concern involving possible damage or loss should be reported as
soon as reasonably possible, with supporting details and photographs
where available.
We will review the circumstances, the condition of the property, the
agreed service scope, and any available evidence before determining
an appropriate response.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot
legally be excluded under applicable consumer-protection law.
12. Photos and Videos
Photos or videos may be taken when reasonably necessary to document
property condition, service scope, access issues, safety concerns, or
a reported service concern.
Before-and-after images will be used for advertising or promotional
purposes only with the client's permission.
We will not intentionally publish personal information, people,
private documents, or identifying property details without consent.
13. Website Use
The website is provided for general information, quote requests, and
booking requests. You agree not to misuse the website, submit false
information, interfere with its operation, or attempt unauthorized
access.
Website content, pricing, promotions, and service descriptions may be
updated. Confirmed booking details will take priority over general
website information if there is a difference.
14. Privacy
Personal information submitted through our website, email, or
telephone channels is handled according to our
Privacy Policy.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service when our services, pricing,
policies, or legal obligations change.
The revised terms will be posted on this page with an updated
effective date. Terms confirmed for an existing appointment will
continue to apply unless the client and Harvey's Elite Care agree to
a change.
16. Contact
Contact Harvey's Elite Care with questions about these terms, a
booking request, payment, cancellation, or service concern.
